DAVID CHEN's STUDIO

Renowned Chinese-Australian artist David Chen was born in China and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Art Education. Before moving abroad, he taught fine arts at a university in China and served as an editor for the Beijing People’s Fine Arts Publishing House. In 1991, he was selected for the “One Hundred Chinese Artists” global touring exhibition. The following year, he received the Silver Eagle Award at the Fourth International Art Competition held in Nice, France. In 1993, David relocated to Melbourne, where his work was invited for exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) the following year. Since settling in Melbourne, David has been a full-time artist, holding numerous solo exhibitions and serving as a visiting professor at various prestigious Australian universities. He is also a judge for the Australian Realist Artists Association. His artworks are held in private collections, corporate collections, and government institutions in Australia and overseas. Notably, his piece “High Noon” was displayed at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra and featured in the United Nations headquarters in New York City.

YU JI XING's STUDIO

Renowned Australian-Chinese tenor, hailed by Maestro Domingo as “one of the most beautiful tenors in the world,” and has performed alongside Maestro Pavarotti. Graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music in 1980, where he served as a tenor soloist with the Central Orchestra. He studied under Italian tenor Gino Bechi, as well as renowned Chinese educators Zhou Xiaoyan and Guo Shuzhen. He has served as a principal tenor soloist at the Sydney Opera House in Australia and as a guest vocal professor at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. Teacher Yu Jixing has performed hundreds of concerts in music halls around the world, including Russia, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, and Australia. He has performed in operas such as “Madama Butterfly,” “Carmen,” and “La Traviata,” as well as musicals including Verdi’s “La Traviata” and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. He has held solo concerts at the Shanghai Grand Theatre and the Beijing 21st Century Theatre. Teacher Yu Jixing is currently based in Melbourne, dedicating himself to vocal education and leaving a lasting impact on countless students.
