2023 Look up at the starry sky concert
The “Look up at the starry sky” concert, organized by the Melbourne Arts Academy in 2023, gathered over 30 music professionals from diverse backgrounds. This three-hour musical feast captivated an audience of 900, leaving them mesmerized. The concert also received unprecedented acclaim and praise both within the industry and in the broader community.
2019 The Voice of China
“The Voice of China” is one of the most popular singing competitions among Chinese people both in China and worldwide. The Melbourne Arts Academy organized the Melbourne edition of “The Voice of China” competition, which included five preliminary rounds, one semi-final, and one final. This edition pioneered an online judging system, achieving tremendous success with nearly a million views. The judges, comprised of members from the Melbourne Musicians Association, received unanimous praise from both contestants and audiences for their professionalism and fairness.
2019 CROWN PLAMS New Year Concert and Special Lecture
The Chinese community in Melbourne hosted an opera-style New Year’s concert for the first time. This concert not only brought together opera singers from China and Italy but also perfectly blended Chinese elements with Western opera art. The audience welcomed the New Year immersed in an elegant and wonderful world of music.
2018 TVB Miss Chinese Australia Pageant Grand Final
Melbourn Arts Academy hosted the 2018 Miss Chinese Australia Pageant Grand Final. The event included two weeks of comprehensive talent training and broke a 40-year record held by TVB by giving all contestants the opportunity to perform on stage. This achievement received high praise from the organizers.
2018 Multicultural Ministry Ink Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition
Melbourne Arts Academy co-organized the Ink and Wash Painting Exhibition as part of the 2018 Australia International Multicultural Arts Festival. From exhibition design to curation, meticulous planning ensured a presentation that showcased elements of traditional Chinese ink and wash painting while integrating contemporary visual characteristics. This approach brought a fresh perspective to both artists and audiences at the event.
